Colonel Paul Cook (ret.) announced the endorsement of the Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association (SEBA), the public safety association for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s sworn personnel and District Attorney investigators, in his race for County Supervisor, District 1.
Cook stated, “I’m proud to have the endorsement of the most important law enforcement employee association in the county. Our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to keep San Bernardino County safe, and they deserve a county supervisor who will stand by them. I’ll do just that.”
Cook is no stranger to public safety. As a lawmaker, Cook succeeded in passing a law to prevent sexual predators from working in jobs where they would be in regular contact with children. In Washington, he continued his fight by voting for legislation cracking down the ultra-violent MS-13 criminal gang, which has spread across America from southern California.
