National Federation of Independent Business endorses Paul Cook for Congress

APPLE VALLEY – Colonel Paul Cook (ret.) announced that the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed him in his race for California’s 8th Congressional District. The NFIB released the following statement:

Dear Congressman Cook,

I am pleased to inform you that NFIB’s political action committee, the SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, has endorsed your reelection to represent California’s 8th Congressional District in the United States Congress.

As you know, NFIB is the country’s leading advocate for small business owners. Our members in your district appreciate very much your consistent support on their key issues. Therefore, NFIB regards your reelection as critical to the small businesses in your district, and we look forward to working with you in the future on regulatory reform, tax relief and other initiatives to improve the small business climate and create jobs.

Once again, on behalf of NFIB members in the 8th Congressional District and throughout America, congratulations on your endorsement. We are excited about your candidacy and eager to support it.

Cook stated, “Small business are the backbone of our economy, and I’m proud to receive the endorsement of the NFIB. I’ve stood by small businesses for decades, not only in my personal spending choices, but as a former executive director of the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and in elected office. As a elected official, I’ve worked to reduce the burdens on business. I won’t stop fighting, because big-government advocates are driving more and more hardworking Californians out of the state. In Congress, I’ve made jobs and small businesses a top priority, and I have no intention of changing course.”
