Congressman Tom McClintock endorses Colonel Paul Cook for Congress

APPLE VALLEY, CA – Conservative icon Congressman Tom McClintock made the following statement announcing his endorsement for Colonel Paul Cook (ret.), running in California’s Eighth Congressional District:

“I’m Tom McClintock. I’m standing with Paul Cook. He’s a solid conservative and the toughest Marine in Congress.

“Wounded twice in Vietnam, Colonel Paul Cook earned the bronze star with a V for Valor for his service defending American values in combat. I’ve watched him defend our American values with the same valor in Congress.” He is a steady voice and a solid vote to reduce the tax and regulatory burdens that are crushing our families. He might not be flashy, but I can tell you this: he is absolutely fearless in pressing the conservative cause in the halls Congress. When Paul Cook speaks we all listen. His is the respected voice of honest conservatism and true patriotism. Folks, we need that voice in Congress.”
