CD 8 includes the counties of Mono and Inyo, and most of San Bernardino County. It includes the follwing cities: Highland, Yucaipa, Adelanto, Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Twentynine Palms, Barstow, Yucca Valley, Mammoth Lakes, Big Bear Lake, Needles, and Bishop. It includes unincorporated areas of Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, and Running Springs. The district contains both Death Valley National Park and Mojave National Preserve.
