Paul Cook for Congress

Yucca Valley, CA 92286
October 29, 2012
To the Committee to Elect Paul Cook as California Representative, 8th District, Congress of the United States:
As an active member of the off highway vehicle community, I am proud to say that I whole-heartedly and enthusiastically endorse Col. Paul Cook (ret.) for the 8th Congressional District.
As a long time resident of the high desert it is important that my Congressional Representative understand the issues facing my local community as well as the State of California. I am confident the Col. Cook will take to heart the potential economic impact to the local high desert communities, should the proposed 29 Palms Marine Base expansion into Johnson Valley and the related BLM managed Open Area continue to move forward. I am encouraged that Col. Cook stands with the high desert residents against an all out take over of Johnson Valley and is willing to work with all parties to find a common sense solution.
Respectfully Submitted,
Kim M. Carpenter.
